Robustel’s EV8100 is an advanced 4G router, VoIP gateway & embedded PC all in one. One of it’s primary application is for use in elevators but EV8100 is finding use in many other applications driven by the shutdown of PSTN networks and the 2G/3G sunsets globally. Other applications include connecting taxi-callers, warden systems, roadside emergency call, traffic systems, lone worker and general telemetry services. EV8100 is also Robustel’s first 4G router with an integrated UPS (battery back-up) that allows the device to keep running for up to a day after power loss & send alerts to let operatives know that there has been a power loss event. Robustel’s EV8100 can turn voice (and DTMF tones) from ANY analogue phone or dialler into packetised voice using VoIP (SIP) or VoLTE - these options are user selectable. At 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.4 mm, the BGM121 module fits applications where size is a constraint. BGM121 also integrates a high performance, ultra robust antenna, which requires minimal PCB, plastic and metal clearance. The total PCB area required by BGM121 is only 51 mm².
