Quectel EM06 LTE Advanced CAT 6 module The EM06 series comprises of 3 variants EM06-E, EM06-J and EM06-A. Each designed to target different regions, covering almost all of the main stream carriers across the world. This module is LTE advanced CAT 6, specifically designed for M2M and IoT designs/applications. Utilising 3GPP Rel. 11 LTE technology, EM06 delivers M2M-optimized speeds of 300Mbit/s downlink and 50Mbit/s uplink peak data rates. With the M.2 form factor, EM06 is compatible with Quectel future Cat 12 module EM12 and Cat 16 module EM16, which will facilitate customers to migrate between different categories in the future.

With the latest 2G chipset, this module has optimum performance levels in SMS and Data Transmitting, including audio service in harsher environments. With its ultra compact size of (15.8mm × 17.7mm × 2.3mm), M66 is ideal for applications that require a more compact design. M66 also adopts surface mount technology, making it an ideal solution for durable and rugged designs. The low profile and small size of LCC package makes sure M66 can be easily embedded whilst also providing reliable connectivity. Best suited for large-scale manufacturing, where there are strict requirements for cost and efficiency.
