Relays with forcibly guided contact set are standard elementary relays according to IEC 61810-1. The special feature of these electromechanical components is the special contact set according to IEC 61810-3 (formerly EN 50205), in which all contacts are connected to each other in such a way that normally open and normally closed contacts are not closed at the same time, even in the disturbed state. In contrast to standard relays, this enables the switching position of the relays to be monitored even if one of the contacts no longer opens, e.g. when a contact is welded.
Relays with forced guidance are mostly used in control systems for functional safety, i.e. wherever life and limb of people must be protected. With their help, load and monitoring circuits in safety controllers can be linked and monitored in a very simple way. High diagnostic coverage and reliability predestine our relays for applications in machine and plant construction, process technology, medical equipment, elevator controls or railway technology, to name but a few.
Our relay series with two to ten contacts form the basis for a large number of variants. Switching currents from 3 mA to 16 A are covered as well as relay drives for excitation voltages from 3 VDC to 220 VDC. By using state-of-the-art materials and newly developed contact systems, our relays guarantee above-average system availability. Efficient relay drives and environmentally friendly materials support energy-efficient and environmentally conscious control design. All our products have been approved by the most important testing laboratories and comply with the most important quality and environmental requirements. In addition, we provide the necessary statistical parameters.
Customer-specific relay variants, e.g. according to EN 50155 for railway applications, for the process industry or for elevator construction, are developed together with the customer. Like our standard relays, these relays have short delivery times and are available for years. The main areas of application for our relays are currently:
Industrial automation
Robotics technology
Mechanical engineering
Laser and welding technology
Medical technology
Elevator technology / lifting systems
Process technology
Railway technology
Combustion plants
Building control technology
And wherever people need to be protected or material assets secured.
