Mesh Networks Seminar [April 2026]

Our 2026 scalable mesh networking seminars, held in April, set out to explore and compare proven approaches to building secure, reliable wireless communication systems.

Technical, engineering-led sessions covered mesh networking architectures, device-to-cloud connectivity, security considerations and power-efficient design for large-scale deployments. The day delivered practical insight into how modern wireless technologies enable safe, resilient connectivity for connected devices, helping organisations design and deploy scalable IoT networks with confidence, for real-world applications including smart cities, critical infrastructure, remote monitoring, utilities, warehousing and agritech.

Technology sessions included:

  • The fundamentals of RF communications including commonly used frequencies and protocols 
  • Detailed overview of protocols such as ZigBee, 802.15.4, DigiMesh, Wi-SUN and LTE-IoT
  • Development environments, processing capabilities and application frameworks. 
  • Creating and monitoring a larger RF network; remote management; adding edge intelligence.
  • Edge intelligence, remote access and real-world end-to-end use cases, from sensor to cloud.
