March 2024: Preparing for the 2G/3G Sunsets – a technical, Quectel-led, hands-on workshop to support customers looking to transition
This 2024 hands-on workshop in Redditch in March explored potential replacement technologies for 2G/3G. Presentation topics included global cellular networks, replacement technologies, 5G and satellite communication, and the workshop explored all of the features you’ll need to consider to establish viability for your application.
The hands-on element of the workshop, supported by experts from Quectel, looked at network scan, connection and data transfer working with Quectel’s Evaluation Board including the EG915 Evaluation Module.
