Elesta Relays

ELESTA relays GmbH was founded in 1997 as a manufacturer of relays with forcibly guided contacts in accordance with IEC 61810-3. In 2013 the company was renamed ELESTA GmbH. ELESTA is part of the PILZ GmbH & Co. KG Group of Companies.

Our relays are used as the heart of applications of functional safety. So wherever there is a risk of accidents. Whether for a track crossing, a lift, robots, medical lasers, X-ray equipment or construction cranes, to name but a few applications. The special feature of our relays is the forced guidance. This design feature of the relay connects the relay contacts with each other in such a way that when one contact is welded together, all other counter-functional contacts can no longer close. This makes monitoring of the load and feedback circuits very simple and safe.

With 8 relay series and 13 housing types, we can cover almost all customer requirements. All our relays can be individually adapted to customer requirements and, thanks to lean production, are so flexible that even small series and special solutions can be produced cost-efficiently and with short delivery times.

The range of relays covers switching currents from 3 mA to 16 A. Relay coils up to 240 VDC are also available energy efficient. Also available are variants according to special standards and customer requirements.
