Skyworks/IsoLink - OLS400 Optocoupler
XProduct SKU: OLS400
- Electrical parameters guaranteed over –55 °C to +125 °C ambient temperature range - 1500 VDC electrical isolation - Low input current: 0.5 mA - Low output VSAT: 0.1 V typical - High current transfer ratio (CTR): 1000% typical - Low power consumption - Similar to industry standard parts: 6N138/6N139 in plastic and 6N140 in hermetic dual inline packages (DIPs) - Offers 100% high reliability screenings The OLS400 has a high CTR at low input currents, making it ideal for applications such as Metal Oxide Semiconductors (MOS), Complementary MOSs (CMOS), and low-power logic interfacing or RS-232C data transmission systems. Each OLS400 has an LED and integrated photodiode Darlington detector I/C, mounted and coupled in a custom hermetic surface-mount Leadless Chip Carrier (LCC) package that provides 1500 VDC electrical isolation between the input and output. The Darlington detector has an integrated base-to-emitter resistor for superior high-temperature performance. The split Darlington design permits lower output saturation voltage and higher switching speed operation than is possible with conventional photo-Darlington designs. Device mounting is achieved with reflow soldering or conductive epoxies. The pads are gold plated and RoHS compliant.

Excelitas SPCM-AQ4C
General Description The SPCM-AQ4C is a four-channel photon counting module capable of detecting single photons of light over the wavelength range from 400 nm to 1060 nm. Each channel is independent from the others. Single Photon Counting Module 4 Channel Array The SPCM-AQ4C uses a unique silicon avalanche photodiode (SLiK) that has a circular active area of 180 µm diameter with a peak photon detection efficiency exceeding 60% at 650 nm. Each photodiode is both thermoelectrically cooled and temperature controlled, ensuring stabilized performance despite changes in the ambient temperature. The SPCM-AQ4C module uses an improved circuit with a peak count rate >4M c/s for short bursts of time on all four channels and a count rate of 1.5 M c/s for continuous operation. There is a "dead time" of 50 nanoseconds (ns) between pulses. The module requires +2 Volts, +5 Volt, and +30 Volt power supplies. The output of each channel – a TTL pulse that is 4.5 Volts high (into a 50 O load) and 25 ns wide – is available at the card edge behind the circuit board. Each TTL pulse corresponds to a detected photon. All input and output signals are available at the card connector. Applications Single molecule detection High throughput single photon experiments LIDAR Photon correlation spectroscopy Astronomical observation Optical range finding Adaptive optics Ultra sensitive fluorescence Particle sizingFeatures

XProduct SKU: SPCM-AQRH-12-FC-P
Excelitas SPCM-AQRH Series
Excelitas newly enhanced SPCM-AQRH Single-Photon Counting Module detects single photons over the wavelength range of 400 nm to 1064 nm with performance parameters superior to other solid state or vacuum-tube based photon counters. Single Photon Counting Module The SPCM-AQRH uses a unique silicon avalanche photodiode (SLiK) with a circular active area, achieving peak photon detection efficiency greater than 70% at 650 nm over a 180 µm diameter, with unmatched uniformity over the full active area. A TTL-level pulse is generated for each photon detected and the signal is available at the BNC connector at the rear of the module. The photodiode is both thermoelectrically cooled and temperature controlled, ensuring stabilized performance despite ambient temperature changes. Operating temperature range has been increased and the module will function with case temperatures between 5°C and 70°C. The module comes as standard with a free-space window to the APD, with FC fiber adapter, C-mount or tube cage mount bracket/adapter options. Recent electronic circuit enhancements have reduced the minimum dead time to less than 25 ns, thereby increasing linearity and improving the dynamic range of the module. Timing resolution of the module was also improved significantly. The SPCM-AQRH has internal protection circuitry that protects the avalanche photodiode and the module electronics from damage due to accidental overload from exposure to ambient lighting. Excelitas C30659 Series - 900/1060/1550/1550E
Si and InGaAs APD Preamplifier Modules Excelitas Technologies’ C30659 Series includes a Si or InGaAs Avalanche Photodiode (APD) with a hybrid preamplifier, in the same hermetically-sealed TO-8 package, to allow for ultra-low noise operation. The Si APDs used in these devices are the same as used in Excelitas’ C30817EH, C30902EH, C30954EH and C30956EH products, while the InGaAs APDs are used in the C30645EH and C30662EH products. These detectors provide very good response between 830 and 1550 nm and very fast rise- and fall-times at all wavelengths. The preamplifier section of the module uses a very low noise GaAs FET front end designed to operate at higher transimpedance than Excelitas’ regular C30950 Series. Excelitas’ InGaAs C30659-1550E Preamplifier Modules, with 1550 nm peak response, are designed to exhibit higher damage thresholds, thus providing greater resilience when exposed to high optical power densities.
